What Is True Love ?

  • True Love is Caring. The ancient Greeks had many different names for different forms of love: passion, virtuous, affection for the family, desire, and general affection. But no matter how love is defined, they all hold a common trait: caring.

  • True Love is Attractive. Attraction and chemistry form the bond that allows people to mate. Without this romantic desire for another individual, a relationship is nothing more than lust or infatuation.

  • True Love is Attached. Like the mother-child bond, attachment comes after the initial attraction. Attachment is the long term love that appears anywhere from one to three years into a romantic relationship (sometimes sooner and very rarely after), and you'll know you've found it when you can honestly say, "I've seen the worst and the best you have to offer, and I still love you," while your partner feels the same way.

  • True Love is Commited. When it comes to true love, commitment is more than just monogamy. Its the knowledge that your partner cares for you and has your back, no matter what the circumstances. People who are strongly commited to one another will, when faced with seemingly negative information about their partner, see only the positive. For example, a friend comments that your partner doesn't say a lot. "Ah yes, he's the strong, silent type," you reply. People with less commitment to their partner would instead say something like, "Yeah, I can never have conversation with him. Its annoying."

  • True Love is Intimate. Intimacy is a crucial component of all relationships, regardless of their nature. In order to know another, you need to share parts of yourself. This self-revealing behavior, when reciprocated, forms an emotional bond. Over time this bond strengthens and even evolves, so that two people merge closer and closer together. Intimacy by itself if is a great friendship, but compiled with the other things in this list, it forms an equation for true love.

You My Dear

When you keep silent and pensive,
I will come to accompany you ..
All that you want,
I'll fulfill, as hard and as best I ..
I will always be next to you
that is, a promise you faithfully for me ..

When the time comes, I have to go,
Thou shalt not grieve, and ..
Dropping your tears ..
Because it was all in vain ..
the last words you said to me ..
that makes my chest,
my heart is swayed by your words ..

I'm sad, staring at you ..
why did you leave me?
now, all that remains is memories ..
memories that could never forgotten ..

Although I could not see and touch you again ..
my love .. dear .. fixed for you.
goodbye my dear.

Love words
Love is strong yet delicate.
It can be broken.
To truly love is to understand this.
To be in love is to respect this.

Love wasn't put in your heart to stay
Love isn't love till you give it away

There are 3 great things in this world
The first thing is for you to love someone
The second thing is for someone to love you back
And the third greatest thing is for the first and second thing to happen at the same time.

They say it takes a minute to find a special person
An hour to appreciate them
A day to love them
But then an entire life to forget them

Love is gentle
Love is kind
Love is when...
...two lives combine

Do you love me because I am beautiful, or am I beautiful because you love me?

You can fall from the sky
You can fall from a tree
But the best way to fall
Is in love with me

Minimizing the Impact of Divorce on Children

Divorce is tough on children -- and your children will likely be experiencing a barrage of emotions as they process their new reality. By reassuring your child with loving words, seeking to co-parent with your ex-spouse and provide stability and routine for your children, you can help them heal and minimize the negative impact of divorce on your children.

Avoid a Battle

  • Though it may be difficult, the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) states on HealthyChildren.org that parents should try to make their divorce as amicable as possible in order to ease the children's adjustment. When divorce proceedings become long and drawn-out, the ongoing conflict interferes with your children's ability to heal. Try to maintain open communication with your ex-spouse, seeking to make legal compromises -- especially when it comes to custody -- that are in the best interest of your children.

Talk About It

  • KidsHealth.org encourages parents to talk openly with their children about their divorce. Acknowledge their grief, anger, sadness or whatever other emotions they may be experiencing without trying to change their feelings. Reassure your children that the divorce was not their fault and is not an indicator of how you feel about them. If their anger and sadness results in social withdrawal or aggressive behavior, do not hesitate to contact a mental health professional.

    Respect the Other Parent

    • Show respect and consideration for your children's relationship with your ex-spouse. Be cordial to one another in front of your kids and be sure to include your ex in on events that your children would want him to attend -- such as graduations and sporting events. Don't speak ill of your ex to your children or in front of your children, lest they think you are trying to get them to take sides. Communicate directly with your ex rather than sending messages through your children.

    Provide Stability

    • Though divorce may bring with it major life changes for your children -- such as a move or a parent going back to work -- try to provide as much routine and predictability for your children as possible. Keep a consistent schedule for your kids whether they are spending time at your home or the home of your ex -- giving them a sense of calm amidst the chaos. Your children may feel unsettled going from one parent to the other, but knowing that they can expect dinner followed by homework followed by bedtime, for example, gives them feelings of stability.

Master The Art of the Kiss

"I ran up the door, opened the stairs, said my pajamas and put on my prayers - turned off my bed, tumbled into my light, and all because he kissed me good-night!" ~Author Unknown

There's nothing quite as remarkable and unforgettable as the exchange of an amazing kiss. The meeting of lips can evoke such a myriad of emotions and communicate your desires in a way that nothing else can quite compare. Even better, when you've got the skills, your lips become a weapon in the war of passion and lust. If you're ready to tease and torture your love to a passionate exchange of heavy lip-locking, consider these tips and ideas.

Kissing 101: Techniques for Lovers

Want to get down to the nitty gritty of kissing like a sex goddess? First, start with the key elements to a great kiss -- pressure, duration, texture, and relaxation.

Pressure
When it comes to pressure, you don't want to smash your lips into each other, but you don't want to feel like you're kissing air either. Find a happy medium that allows you to vary your intensity from gentle to passionate, depending on the mood.

Duration
The duration of the kiss should correlate to the mood you are trying to create. If you want to be a teasing tart, quick and suggestive kisses would be a better choice. If you want to fill them with wanton longing and need, a longer, more passionate exchange would fit the bill.

Texture
The condition of your lips is a very large part of your kissing experience. Make sure to keep them from getting overly chapped by using chapstick or lipstick regularly. Also, if you know you're going to have a heated exchange, save his lips and avoid the extra lipstick.

Relaxation
Relaxation is really only critical when it comes to your first kissing exchanges. You can completely blow a first kiss opportunity by being to rigid and stiff with your lips because of nerves. Just remember to enjoy the exchange. If you end up spending your time worrying about your kiss, it will show and you'll have ruined the moment anyway.

Kissing 102: A Flirty Guide

Now that you've got the basics down, try exploring a little and getting creative with the tips below.

Did you know our brains have special neurons that help us find each other's lips in the dark? Add a sense of mystery and test out the science of kissing with an after-dark or blindfolded exchange.

Scents and tastes are all big turn-ons. Take advantage of this and use a little flavored lip gloss for an unexpected pleasure.

Mix things up and vary your kisses with your partner. Kiss harder, then lighter. Draw away from your partner to make them work for it a little bit and then give in and go all out. Play with your technique for the best results.

Don't just love the lips. Keep in mind there are other erogenous zones near the lips as well. Divert some of your attention to their jawbone, ears and throat.

Get caught up in the moment. Nothing ruins a kiss more than realizing your partner's just not that into it or their mind is on something else. If you're going to make-out, leave everything else behind you and just revel in the sensations.

Kissing 103: An Advanced Primer

If you're ready to take your kissing to the next level, these reader ideas might be just the ticket to spice things up.

A Kiss to Remember
My boyfriend surprises me every now and then with a kiss to remember. First he licks my upper and lower lips and then kisses them softly and passionately. I've been with him for a year and 3 months and it still gets to me every time. Try it and see for yourself!

Breathe You In
This is a passionate way to love your partner. When you are both lying down and kissing, try putting your lips together and gently breathe into one another. He exhales while you inhale and vice versa. This is so romantic. I love to do this with my lover, hopefully you will too.

Brushed Kisses
When you go in to kiss your partner, give them one soft kiss on the lips, then brush your lips across theirs. Go back and forth about three or four times and then give another couple of soft kisses. This always leads to a more passionate kiss. If they try to kiss you while you're brushing against their lips, pull back a bit. My girlfriend does this to me and it drives me nuts, but I LOVE IT!

Cooling Kisses
Start by gently kissing your partner's jaw line and as you kiss, blow on the spot that has just been kissed. It makes it tingle and feels so special!

Make His Head Spin
On our fourth date, my wife, instead of just giving me a sweet kiss and nicely stepping out of the car, grabbed me by the tie, pulled me towards her and kissed me hard for three seconds. Then she let go, dashed out of the car and into her house. It's been some years since that happened and my head is still spinning!!

Taking Control
One thing I love to do with my boyfriend is to tease him a bit. First, I run my fingers along his lips, but pull away if he tries to kiss them. Then, I tell him that he isn’t allowed to kiss me back or touch me at all, or else I will stop. I follow that up by slowly kissing every part of his lips and his mouth. While doing this, I run my hands over his body, but pull away if I feel him react at all. He said it drove him crazy! It's fun for both of you: a major turn-on for the receiver and the giver!

Teasing Kiss
My boyfriend and I love to tease each other while kissing. In the middle of a kiss, one of us leans back so the other has to move in to reach their lips. As they reach in, keep moving back a little further each time so they can’t reach. This game builds the anticipation of the kiss. Once they finally reach, it will be the most passionate and deep kiss you will ever have.

Teasing Kisses
My favorite kiss begins like this…. First, I put my head on his shoulder, and start giving him little innocent kisses at the base of his neck. As I get farther up the neck, I open my mouth more, so it he feels the kisses a little more. By the time I reach his ear, he’s going crazy. Then I stop with a little baby kiss, run my tongue up the outside curve of the ear, and then finally gently biting the earlobe. It helps to breathe a lot on his skin while doing this, because the air on the place where you lick tingles.

Upside Down Kiss
The most playful and teasing way to kiss is upside down!... with your partner lying face up, start from the lips kissing them upside down...exploring and teasing kisses in this position can drive your partner crazy and who knows where the kisses will lead!

Write Your Love Story

Everyone has a story to tell. In fact, most people delight in sharing the little things that happen to them daily. But, when it comes to undertaking something such as actually writing their own love story, most people balk at the idea. So imagine the surprise your partner will feel when you've taken the time to record the very significant part of your lives on paper. For ideas and tips, read on… Where To Start
First compile all relevant information such as:

  1. Where and when you met.

  2. Where and when you first kissed.

  3. Where and when you proposed.

  4. Where and when you were married.

  5. The first time you knew you were in love.

  6. Where and when you shared these feelings with your partner.

  7. Where and when you had your first date.

  8. How you felt when you were on your first date.
Next, you'll need to sort the information chronologically, from the first event.
It's much easier to put the story together when you write about each event/memory on an index card. For quick reference, highlight what the event/memory was, and the date it happened on the top. Then, in as much detail as memory allows, write about what happened, including all your senses such as touch, sight, smell, etc.
Once you have all the events/memories written, and in order. Start writing your love story. It will be a fairly easy job if you've done the steps above.
Creative Ideas For Your Story
It's one thing to sit down and write your love story, it's quite another to take the time to put creative effort into it. Some ideas couples have done range from video taping the story with pictures, to creating their own professionally bound book with pictures. The possibilities are truly endless. To help you get started, here are a few ideas:
  1. Tell the story in a fairy-tale format. Starting with, "Once upon a time…"

  2. Create a puppet show with puppets to represent each of your characters. Save a copy of the play for your partner to read later.

  3. Write your story in diary format. Get a blank journal and create entries for each of the days that are relevant for your love story.

  4. Make a timeless treasure by writing your story in calligraphy on a heavy paper. Dip the pages in tea or burn the edges to give it an "old" look. Roll it up and tie a ribbon around it. You may want to give your partner a round tube so the letter doesn't get ruined.

  5. Create a love story scavenger hunt. Write parts of your story with clues to find the next section. This is especially fun if the clues are hidden in places relevant to your love story!
